Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sutarjo Sukarman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Liam St. Georges ! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! St. Georges scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sukarman wants to get back to full guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with St. Georges in particular looking to stall. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Let's hope that St. Georges has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Sukarman trying to hold on to St. Georges 's head to control him but St. Georges postures up.
St. Georges content to control rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. St. Georges 's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like St. Georges might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. St. Georges shoots in for a takedown and gets it. St. Georges sitting and controlling from the half guard. St. Georges wants to free his trapped foot but Sukarman is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sukarman tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. St. Georges perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Sukarman is trying to maintain the position but St. Georges is very close to passing his half guard. St. Georges sitting and controlling from the half guard. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from St. Georges . Sukarman wants to improve his position but St. Georges is controlling well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. St. Georges looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Sukarman wants to get back to full guard. St. Georges is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. St. Georges closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. St. Georges is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Sukarman is looking for a sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. St. Georges is continuing to stall. Sukarman is trying to get back to half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! St. Georges moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. The adventures of St. Georges the control monster continue. Boring. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Liam St. Georges dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Sukarman gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Sukarman on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sukarman tries to get out of the position. Sukarman being controlled here, momentarily. More stalling from St. Georges . St. Georges is pushing down on Sukarman's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sukarman is fighting to maintain full guard but St. Georges has managed to sneak the leg through. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

St. Georges lands a nice short elbow. Sukarman is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but St. Georges pulls his head out easily. St. Georges keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. St. Georges with more of the same as he continues to hold on. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. St. Georges lands a nice short elbow. Sukarman wants to control but St. Georges passes into side.
Liam St. Georges has got the better of the ground game so far. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. St. Georges cracks Sukarman with a big right hand but Sukarman just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Liam St. Georges showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
St. Georges looking to score a takedown here. Sukarman is defending well but St. Georges drives through and ends up in Sukarman's guard.
Sukarman is rocked! St. Georges passes Sukarman's left leg - he's now in half guard. Oh Sukarman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! St. Georges is taking a breather. Sukarman says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. St. Georges passes to full mount! Oooooh, big shot lands for St. Georges ! Sukarman is hurt baaadly! St. Georges is firing away with more strikes - Sukarman is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Liam St. Georges ! Liam St. Georges very nearly forgot to thank Conviction amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you. Sutarjo Sukarman spoke after the fight, saying 'Next i'll win'.
