Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Luc Bernard (ranked 4132 p4p, 4599 weight class) and Eden Crawford (ranked 364 p4p, 383 weight class). Luc Bernard has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Luc Bernard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Eden Crawford! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crawford slips a jab and a cross from Bernard.
Bernard looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Bernard tries for a takedown but Crawford circles away easily and Crawford counters with a takedown into side control. Bernard can't do much from the bottom here. Crawford taking a breather here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bernard is trying to escape and get back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crawford tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Crawford working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bernard pushes Crawford away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Crawford gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Crawford takes a little break here. Bernard wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Crawford tries for a kimura but Bernard is defending well. Bernard tries to improve position but can't. Crawford looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Crawford throws an elbow but Bernard slips to the side and avoids it well. Bernard seems a little lost for a moment, as Crawford dominates the positioning. Check out the look on Crawford's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Crawford goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Bernard has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Crawford but great work by Bernard. Crawford is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Crawford is concentrating on defense, preventing Bernard from advancing position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crawford wants to improve his position but Bernard is controlling well.
Bernard is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Crawford is looking to improve his position.
Crawford has his hands clasped together around Bernard's back. He's all about the action. Crawford won't allow Bernard to pass to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crawford is staying active underneath Bernard, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Crawford is pressing down on Bernard's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Bernard avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bernard tries to free his leg and advance position but Crawford is retaining full guard. Crawford is adopting a defensive guard. Crawford throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Crawford looking for a sweep. Not yet Crawford, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crawford is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Bernard passes easily into side control. Nice work. Crawford is looking to reverse the position. Crawford is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Bernard tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bernard has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Bernard trying to control the position but Crawford is working away. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Crawford regains half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Eden Crawford dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! Bernard scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Crawford doesn't seem bothered though. Luc Bernard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Crawford ducks right into an uppercut from Bernard. Bernard pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Crawford back to the cage. Bernard follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Bernard throws a right hand that Crawford ducks under and follows up with a left that Crawford also avoids with ease. And Crawford tries to counter it with a takedown but Bernard pushes his down on his head and steps out. Crawford scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Bernard is looking for a sweep. Crawford is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Well, if Crawford is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Bernard tries to kick Crawford off but Crawford keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Crawford controlling the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Let's hope that Crawford has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Bernard is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Crawford pulls his head out easily. Crawford is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Crawford works his way into side control. Crawford content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Crawford is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bernard is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bernard is looking to regain half guard here but Crawford keeps moving and retains side control. Crawford cracks Bernard with an elbow. That is naaassty. Crawford moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Crawford wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bernard, who protects the arm well. Crawford controlling from side mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crawford has hold of Bernard's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Bernard seems comfortable defending it but Crawford has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Bernard is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Bernard is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Crawford couldn't care less - he's delighted!
