Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Masa Funaki (ranked 695 p4p, 677 weight class) and Biabas Kitjakarn (ranked 79 p4p, 75 weight class). Kitjakarn has chosen Dancing Drums as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funaki cracks Kitjakarn with a good jab.
Funaki thows a leg kick but Kitjakarn checks it
and Kitjakarn connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Masa Funaki has been cut.
Funaki lands with a nice body kick.
Funaki throws a leg kick but Kitjakarn sees it coming and moves out of range.
Kitjakarn keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Funaki swings for the body but Kitjakarn moves out of range.
Funaki thuds his right hand into Kitjakarn's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Funaki connects with a body shot that sends Kitjakarn's belly button to the back.

Kitjakarn has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Funaki goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Funaki misses with a looping left.
Funaki has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Kitjakarn.
Funaki lands a nice hook to Kitjakarn's body. Kitjakarn takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Funaki throws a nice outside leg kick.
Funaki shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Funaki takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Kitjakarn avoids the body shot from Funaki.
Funaki misses with a body shot.
Funaki changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Funaki throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kitjakarn misses with a kick to the body.
Kitjakarn takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Funaki pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kitjakarn is out of range and Funaki settles back down.
Kitjakarn takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Kitjakarn thuds his right hand into Funaki's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Kitjakarn doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Funaki throws a solid leg kick but Kitjakarn takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Funaki.
Kitjakarn stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Funaki.
Funaki is looking to wear down Kitjakarn with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Kitjakarn misses the jab.

and Funaki takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
BOOM! Kitjakarn lands a beautiful left hook that drops Funaki. Funaki tries to recover but Kitjakarn is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Funaki lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
