Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Inspektor Gee (ranked 239 p4p, 189 weight class) and Grant Alyoshin (ranked 35 p4p, 29 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Inspektor Gee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Grant Alyoshin! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alyoshin misses with a lunging right hand
and Gee makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Gee bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Gee misses with a body kick. Gee looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Alyoshin thows a left - swing and a miss! Gee gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Alyoshin. Gee gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Alyoshin wants to clinch. Alyoshin clinches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gee comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Alyoshin utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Gee is breathing heavily. A short left from Alyoshin.
That's one minute gone in the round. A quick uppercut on the inside from Alyoshin. Alyoshin scores with a nice hook to the head. A short uppercut from Alyoshin. Knees in the clinch landing for Gee.
Alyoshin lands with a short shot to the head. Alyoshin lands on the inside with an uppercut. Alyoshin lands with a short head shot on the inside. A short right from Alyoshin. Gee managing to block the knees to the body from Alyoshin.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Gee. Gee manages to break the clinch.
Alyoshin lands a big right hand that sends Gee crashing to the mat! Alyoshin stays standing though and waves Gee back to his feet!
It looks like Inspektor Gee has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Gee. Alyoshin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Alyoshin darts in and clinches Gee up against the cage. Gee is looking to control Alyoshin's arms but Alyoshin gets an underhook and turns him. Now Gee has his back to the cage. Alyoshin scores with an uppercut up the middle. Alyoshin blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. A shot in the inside from Alyoshin.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alyoshin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Alyoshin closes the distance and pushes Gee back into the cage. Gee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Gee misses with a leg kick and Alyoshin counters with a nice leg kick. Gee shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. A nice inside leg kick there by Alyoshin. That's going to slow Gee down. Alyoshin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Alyoshin with a nice calf kick. Alyoshin throws a head kick that misses. Gee was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Alyoshin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gee. Alyoshin lands a nice looking body kick. Alyoshin with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Alyoshin lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Inspektor Gee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A chopping leg kick lands by Alyoshin. Alyoshin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gee looks for the body kick but Alyoshin saw that one coming.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alyoshin loads up on a big right hand but Gee slips the punch. Alyoshin throws a good cross that connects.
Gee throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Alyoshin sees it coming and avoids it easily. Alyoshin swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Gee misses with a jab, cross combination.
Alyoshin tries a quick counter leg kick but Gee is wise to it. Alyoshin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gee manages to avoid it. Good shot there by Gee. Alyoshin checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Alyoshin appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Alyoshin circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Gee to the canvas! Gee doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Alyoshin keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
