Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Everest Frank (ranked 1796 p4p, 1635 weight class) and Terry Tungsten (ranked 65 p4p, 28 weight class). Frank comes to the cage accompanied by Knife Talk x Drake ft. 21 Savage x Project Pat. Tungsten has chosen Cover of The Rolling Stone by Dr. Hook as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Everest Frank! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Terry Tungsten! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frank fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Frank shoots in for a double leg but Tungsten sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Tungsten is looking to clinch. Tungsten has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Tungsten throws a good cross that connects.
It looks like Everest Frank has been cut. Tungsten scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Frank doesn't seem bothered though. Tungsten tries to clinch up. Frank tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tungsten was well out of range. Poor timing from Frank. Frank has been working on his balance at Thib's Sweat Shoppe, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Tungsten. Tungsten tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Frank paws at him with a jab and circles away. Tungsten leaves Frank with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Tungsten lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Everest Frank. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tungsten throws a big shot that misses. Frank tries for a takedown but Tungsten circles away easily and Tungsten counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tungsten has Frank up against the cage in a clinch.
Tungsten manages to break the clinch.
Frank swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tungsten scores with the left hand. Frank knows he should have avoided that one. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Frank takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tungsten defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Frank. Frank gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Tungsten is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Frank swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Frank tries to throw a body punch but Tungsten avoids it by throwing Frank back against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Tungsten. Frank tries to stall but Tungsten uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
A body shot lands from Tungsten.
Tungsten lands with a short head shot on the inside. Tungsten prevents a body shot from Frank. Tungsten pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Frank wants to clinch up but Tungsten keeps it at a distance. Tungsten scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Tungsten throws the left hand but Frank avoids the punch easily. Frank wants to clinch. Tungsten lands with a nice body punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frank fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Terry Tungsten is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tungsten scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Frank doesn't seem bothered though. Frank is breathing heavily. Tungsten connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Everest Frank's cut is getting worse. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tungsten cracks Frank with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Frank looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Tungsten finish him?
Frank is rocked! Frank switches off momentarily and Tungsten cracks him with a monster right hand! Frank topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Tungsten dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Tungsten!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Terry Tungsten! Terry Tungsten decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
