PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Axel Montenegro (ranked 2211 p4p, 1996 weight class) and Akwasi Nti (ranked 49 p4p, 41 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Montenegro might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Battle. Akwasi Nti has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montenegro on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Nti throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nti looks to land a right hand but Montenegro moved out of range.

Montenegro goes for a takedown attempt but Nti pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee is keeping an eye on Nti - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Montenegro connects with a nice short shot to Nti's temple.
