Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Liam Reem (ranked 1389 p4p, 24380 weight class) and Deruck Nganoo (ranked 20 p4p, 197 weight class). Reem kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Daft Punk - Robot Rock. Nganoo has his foot on Reem's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Reem works his way back into a safe position though.
Nganoo isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Reem stacks Nganoo on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Reem!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Reem remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Nganoo throws a hook but Reem avoids it easily.

Reem pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Nganoo wants to counter with a clinch but Reem pushes him away.
Nganoo drives through and clinches with Reem against the cage.

Nganoo has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Reem doesn't defend quickly enough and Nganoo has managed to lock this one up! Can Reem escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Nganoo on a fantastic submission victory.
