Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Masvidal (ranked 4205 p4p, 2566 weight class) and James Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masvidal comes to the cage accompanied by The Next Episode. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that James Smith was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Smith!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masvidal throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Smith turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

and Smith counters with a slapping leg kick.
A slow jab from Masvidal misses its intended target.

Smith closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Masvidal's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
