Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brian Dean (ranked 1263 p4p, 3508 weight class) and Tigran Minasian (ranked 171 p4p, 419 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brian Dean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tigran Minasian!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minasian shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dean misses with a straight right.
Dean throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tigran Minasian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Minasian feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Minasian seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Minasian working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Dean knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Minasian on the ground.

Minasian looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Minasian uses his free foot to push down on Dean's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Dean.

You get the feeling that Dean really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Let's hope that Minasian has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That's time! Dean's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Dean flashes Minasian a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Minasian's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Minasian crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Dean punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
