Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Delhoyo (ranked 4346 p4p, 4350 weight class) and Forrest Gump (ranked 512 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gump shoots in for a takedown but Delhoyo shows good takedown defense.

Gump takes the fight into the clinch.
Delhoyo is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Gump gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Delhoyo tries to circle away but Gump has him pinned against the cage.

Delhoyo looking to throw knees to the head but Gump is blocking nicely.

Gump tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Delhoyo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Delhoyo lands in his opponent's guard.

Gump is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Delhoyo scores with a couple of nice shots.

Delhoyo works his foot free and advances to mount.
Delhoyo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Gump manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Gump tries to roll over but Delhoyo keeps him under control.
Delhoyo wants to take a breather but Gump is having none of it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gump is trying to maintain the position but Delhoyo is very close to passing his half guard.
Gump is looking for a sweep. Delhoyo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Delhoyo seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Gump really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Delhoyo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gump has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Delhoyo is working away from the top position though.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Delhoyo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Gump is bucking up trying to escape but Delhoyo cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Delhoyo looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Gump tries to lock up and control but Delhoyo gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Delhoyo is working for a guillotine from mount but Gump frees his head quite easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gump has hold of Delhoyo's leg, trying to break free but it's let Delhoyo lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Gump is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Delhoyo throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.
