The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dupont looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Burger isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dupont stacks Burger on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dupont!
Burger is looking for a sweep.

Burger tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dupont wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burger is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Dupont takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Dupont is posturing up here but Burger has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Dupont tries to roll out but it's too tight and Dupont has to tap! Slick submission there by Burger!
