Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Goran Dragic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kill Switch! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Kavanagh and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Dragic checks a leg kick. As Switch looks to move away, Dragic throws a big counter combo but Switch just gets out of the way. A clash of legs there as Dragic blocks the low kick. We've been hearing reports that Dragic has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Switch comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Switch misses the shot to the body. Switch moves into range and clinches up with Dragic. Switch misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Dragic.

Dragic is trying to trip Switch. He has hold of a leg but Switch is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Dragic persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Switch kicks Dragic off and gets to his feet. A jab from Switch misses. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Switch throws out a loose jab but Dragic uses good head movement to avoid it. Dragic throwing a counter right hand but Switch manages to avoid it. Dragic blocks a leg kick. Switch instigates a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Switch landing some nice looking knees to the body.

It looks like Goran Dragic has been cut. Dragic is breathing heavily. Switch doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Dragic has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Switch regains guard immediately. Dragic drops back, looking for a kneebar! Switch looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Switch looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Switch! Switch lands some shots froms side control. Switch in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Dragic looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Switch turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kill Switch! In his post fight interview, Kill Switch gave a big smile as he said 'Broken necks, splattered patellas, severed arteries: These are the things from which dreams are made of.'.
