The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Thompson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Bowy throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Bowy turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Thompson avoids a kick to the body.
Thompson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bowy circles away from the clinch attempt.
A head kick from Bowy lands but Thompson takes it in his stride.
It looks like Scott Thompson has been cut.
Thompson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Bowy scores with a kick to the body.

Thompson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bowy.

Bowy scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Thompson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bowy.

Bowy keeps Thompson at a distance using the push kick.
Thompson takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Bowy grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Thompson takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Bowy cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Luke Bowy!
A relieved looking Luke Bowy thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
