Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Timo Leyton (ranked 996 p4p, 1222 weight class) and Dirk Jammer (ranked 140 p4p, 167 weight class). Dirk Jammer will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Timo Leyton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dirk Jammer! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leyton throws a hook but Jammer blocks it. Leyton fails with the takedown. Jammer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Leyton scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Leyton is trying to control. Jammer wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Leyton looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Jammer is not content to let Leyton control the position. Jammer is looking to control Leyton's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jammer avoid being mounted? We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jammer is not content to let Leyton control the position. Jammer is trying to maintain the position but Leyton is very close to passing his half guard. We've been hearing that Leyton has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jammer flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Leyton is taking a breather. Jammer says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Leyton is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Jammer! A nice elbow there by Leyton. Leyton looking to control but Jammer is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jammer is wriggling around trying to escape.
Leyton jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jammer manages to avoid the submission attempt. Leyton content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Leyton trying to control the action but Jammer is working from the bottom. Jammer is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leyton working the head and body with strikes. Jammer looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Leyton not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Leyton wants to take a breather but Jammer is having none of it. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Leyton connects with a nice short shot to Jammer's temple. Leyton slips a nice elbow through Jammer's hands, connecting with Jammer's forehead. Leyton drops an elbow to the side of Jammer's head. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Leyton in particular looking to stall. Jammer is refusing to be controlled, as Leyton sits in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jammer keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Jammer wants to control but Leyton is keeping busy.

Timo Leyton dominated that round. That's time! Leyton's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Leyton has a takedown stuffed. Jammer misses the shot to the body. Excellent takedown into side control there by Leyton. Jammer can't do much from the bottom here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leyton trying to control the position from guard on top but Jammer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Leyton working some strikes from top position. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jammer defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Leyton. Leyton missing with a left hand there. Jammer was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. And Jammer tries to counter it with a takedown but Leyton pushes his down on his head and steps out. Jammer stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Timo Leyton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jammer throws a right and a left that both miss. Leyton misses the jab. Jammer drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Leyton defends it well. Leyton takes a swing at Jammer's ribcage but misses. Leyton slips under a jab from Jammer. A jab from Leyton misses. Jammer is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Leyton slips a straight right by Jammer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jammer tries to bum rush Leyton with a series of wild strikes but Leyton uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Leyton takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Jammer looks to land a combination. Leyton sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Jammer bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Leyton's head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jammer looks to score with a jab to the body but Leyton is just out of range. Leyton attempts a counter takedown but Jammer avoids it well and moves away. Leyton shoots in for a takedown but Jammer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Dirk Jammer seems to be getting the better of the standup. Leyton feints and as Jammer raises his hands in defense, Leyton changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Jammer looking to control.
Leyton postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jammer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Leyton showing good wrestling skills to control the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Timo Leyton will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards. Jammer swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

Leyton fails with the takedown. Jammer tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Timo Leyton. Timo Leyton overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Leyton throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. That's four minutes gone in the round. Jammer is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Leyton is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jammer can do to turn this around? Leyton wants to improve his position but Jammer is controlling well.
Leyton is working hard here to advance position. Jammer trying to mount his opponent but Leyton defends it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Leyton trying to get back to full guard but Jammer takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Timo Leyton. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Leyton, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Timo Leyton! A less than humble Timo Leyton misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
