Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sleep Tight (ranked 6478 p4p, 24580 weight class) and Jovi Dufren (ranked 539 p4p, 560 weight class). Jovi Dufren is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jovi Dufren!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tight shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dufren's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dufren is on top in guard.
Dufren stopping the sweep attempt from Tight .
Dufren is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Tight is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Tight escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dufren gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Tight knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dufren on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dufren is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Tight wants to improve his position but Dufren is controlling well.
Tight is defending against the submission attempts here by Dufren.
Tight wants to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tight is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Dufren has latched onto it... Big trouble! Dufren pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Tight is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Dufren!
