Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sam Uri! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bengui Sudo! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uri throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Sudo gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Sudo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Uri looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sudo. Sam Uri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Good work by Uri as he checks the leg kick. Uri misses with a body shot.
Sudo throws a quick inside leg kick. Sudo lands a high kick!
Sudo shoots in but Uri avoids the takedown attempt easily. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Uri stuns Sudo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Uri lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sudo at a distance.
Sudo drops his hands momentarily and Uri takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. A telegraphed right hand from Uri misses the target. Uri throws a nice looking combination but Sudo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Uri pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Uri throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Uri lands a with a good body shot. Nice sprawl there from Uri as Sudo shoots in. Sam Uri has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bengui Sudo. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sudo avoids a punch combination nicely.

Sudo has a takedown stuffed. Sudo looks gassed! Uri lands with a hook. Sudo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Uri throws a right and a left that Sudo avoids nicely. Sudo shoots for a double leg takedown but Uri sprawls well. He's pushed Sudo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Uri lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Uri throws the left hand but Sudo avoids the punch easily. Uri scores with a one two! Sudo had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Jab, jab by Uri - just one landing. Sudo ducks right into an uppercut from Uri. Uri decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Uri uses his free foot to push down on Sudo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sudo. Uri has isolated one of Sudo's arms. Sudo looking to fight him off but Uri twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
