Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Efraim Diveroli (ranked 5912 p4p, 5271 weight class) and Eric Long (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diveroli comes to the cage accompanied by Fortunate Son - CCR. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Efraim Diveroli! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eric Long! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Long looks to clinch and Diveroli counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Efraim Diveroli seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Long fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Diveroli avoids it really well and circles away. Diveroli has Long up against the cage in a clinch.
The referee calls for Diveroli to work.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diveroli breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Diveroli moves into the clinch. Long has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Diveroli is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Still in the clinch, Diveroli scores with a nice short uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. A battle for position here, against the cage. Long tries to throw a body punch but Diveroli avoids it by throwing Long back against the cage. Diveroli tries to pull guard but Long forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Long drops down looking for an ankle pick but Diveroli pulls his leg out and moves away.
Efraim Diveroli has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eric Long. Diveroli closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Long's guard. Diveroli knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Long on the ground. Diveroli is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Diveroli won't allow Long to get back to his feet. Diveroli preventing the sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Long controls Diveroli momentarily but Diveroli frees himself. Long looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Long looking for a triangle here. Diveroli is fighting it but it looks tight! Long pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Diveroli is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Eric Long! The defeated Efraim Diveroli had this to say: 'Im sorry to my fans but I have diarrhoea and my lovely white boxers are now brown... they're my favourite pair so im going to wash them'.
