Paul throws a shot from downtown. Howard moves away and avoids it.
Howard drops down looking for a counter takedown but Paul sprawls and moves away.
Paul has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Paul throws a jab when Howard was well out of range.
Paul misses with an uppercut
and Howard counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Paul!
Howard lands a decent elbow from side control.
Howard has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Paul is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Howard yanks on the arm and Paul is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Howard.
