Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Temujin Atkiray (ranked 3030 p4p, 3207 weight class) and Justin Lobsusbaka (ranked 286 p4p, 295 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Temujin Atkiray! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Justin Lobsusbaka! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Eddie Farnsworth and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lobsusbaka uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Atkiray has time to react. Lobsusbaka uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Atkiray. Lobsusbaka gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Atkiray looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Lobsusbaka fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Atkiray manages to avoid it. Atkiray swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Lobsusbaka. Atkiray closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Atkiray slows the pace down. Atkiray working the ground and pound but Lobsusbaka is defending the strikes. Lobsusbaka wants to get back to his feet. Atkiray scoring with punches and elbows. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Atkiray scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Lobsusbaka to see if he's OK.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lobsusbaka is looking to regain half guard here but Atkiray keeps moving and retains side control. Atkiray throwing strikes but missing, from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Atkiray wants to control but Lobsusbaka is keeping him busy. Atkiray works to advance to full mount. Lobsusbaka defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Atkiray throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Atkiray pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Atkiray landing strikes from the mount and Lobsusbaka is in trouble! Atkiray lands a nice shot to the head.
Lobsusbaka is rocked! Atkiray landing shots from mount. Lobsusbaka is still in real trouble! Can Atkiray finish him? Atkiray postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Lobsusbaka bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Atkiray and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Temujin Atkiray! After winning the bout, Temujin Atkiray thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
