Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Griffon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Del Carma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffon comes to the cage accompanied by I'm Shipping out to Boston by Dropkick Murphys. Del Carma is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: 300 Violin Orchestra-Jorge Quintero. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Forrest Griffon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anderson Del Carma! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Paulo Santos and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Del Carma loads up on a big right hand but Griffon slips the punch. No joy there for Del Carma, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Griffon goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Del Carma swinging wilding here.
Griffon dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Del Carma. That did some damage! Griffon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Griffon is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Del Carma is in real trouble.
Del Carma is trying to stand back up. Del Carma is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Griffon gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Griffon gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Griffon apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Griffon moves out of range of the strikes. Griffon scores with a takedown into Del Carma's guard. Griffon prevents Del Carma from getting back to his feet. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Griffon is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Del Carma striking off his back, scoring a few points. Del Carma throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Del Carma throws a right hand that Griffon ducks under and follows up with a left that Griffon also avoids with ease. Griffon is looking to clinch but Del Carma is avoiding it.
Del Carma moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Forrest Griffon has been cut. Del Carma misses with a wild combination.
Del Carma throws a leg kick and Griffon counters with a good low kick that Del Carma was not able to check. Del Carma lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Griffon sprawling to the canvas. Del Carma follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Griffon hang on?
Griffon is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Del Carma scoring with strikes to the body and head. Oh Griffon is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Forrest Griffon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Griffon works his way to full guard. Good work. Griffon seems to have got his legs back now. Del Carma distracts Griffon with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Del Carma wants to stand but Griffon is controlling his posture from full guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Del Carma postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Griffon looking for a guillotine here but Del Carma defends easily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Griffon scores a takedown into full mount!

Del Carma tries to hold on but Griffon pushes him away. Griffon is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Del Carma can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Griffon has a closed guard, preventing Del Carma from standing up. Del Carma must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Griffon lands with a thumping leg kick.

Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Del Carma is looking for a sweep. Griffon wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Del Carma, who protects the arm well. Griffon is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Del Carma has escaped the position, nice work there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Griffon fails to land a wild elbow strike.

That was a close second round but I would say that Forrest Griffon will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Forrest Griffon's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Del Carma throws a combination that misses and Griffon counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Del Carma throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Griffon counters with a nice double leg into side control. Del Carma won't be happy with that. Griffon scores with a couple of short elbows. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Del Carma on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Del Carma manages to work his way to half guard, despite Griffon's best efforts. Griffon missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Del Carma taking some punishment here, with Griffon in his half guard. Griffon works his way into side control. Del Carma is trying to improve his position. Griffon looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Griffon is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Del Carma knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Griffon breaks from Del Carma's wrist control and lands an elbow. Griffon looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Griffon unloads with some shots from mount but Del Carma bucks and avoids them well.

Griffon working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Del Carma turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Griffon off and cradles Del Carma's limp body as Griffon celebrates with his corner.
