Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Starr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sold Snaek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Starr moves in looking to clinch but Snaek pushes him off. Starr takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. A nice combination there by Snaek.
Starr drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Starr won't allow Snaek to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Snaek keeping moving, preventing Starr from controlling successfully. Starr is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Starr thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Snaek is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Starr is controlling him.

Snaek keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Starr is looking for a kimura but Snaek is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Starr to get the leverage. Starr wants to lay and pray for a moment but Snaek keeps working. Starr is working for a submission of some sort.

That was a close round but I would say that Tommy Starr will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

It looks like Tommy Starr has been cut. Snaek with a lazy takedown attempt and Starr counters with a shoot takedown. Snaek fights it but they end up in guard. Starr drops back, looking for a kneebar! Snaek looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Snaek looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Snaek! Starr tries to buck Snaek off but Snaek is having none of it. Snaek stands up. Starr is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Starr has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snaek lands with a nice combination. Starr backs away looking to recover. Snaek bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Starr tries to buck Snaek off but Snaek is having none of it. Snaek gets to mount! Starr was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Snaek trying to control but he's not successful this time. Snaek avoids the attempt from Starr to control. Starr might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Starr is squirming around, avoiding Snaek's attempts to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Starr wants to hold on but Snaek pushes him away. Starr is desperately trying to improve his position but Snaek has a good base and remains in mount. Snaek really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Starr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Snaek tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Starr gets back to half guard. Starr wants to improve his position but Snaek is controlling well.

Sold Snaek showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Tommy Starr's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Starr advances position into side control! Starr is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Snaek is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Starr tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Starr has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Snaek tries to escape but Starr is in control. Snaek is trying to control Starr's posture but Starr avoids it. The strikes coming from Starr are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Starr in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Snaek is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
