Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blaise Xin (ranked 4311 p4p, 4426 weight class) and Idi Nima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nima scores with a punch to the head.
Xin closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Nima with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Xin is looking to clinch but Nima is avoiding it.
Xin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A lazy left from Nima finds it's target.
Xin on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Xin wants to clinch
and Nima counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Xin thinking.
Xin fails with the takedown
and Nima counters with a left to the body.
Nima with a body punch. A glancing blow.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Xin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nima swivels and escapes.

Nima lands with a nice combination. Xin backs away looking to recover.
Nima with a jab.
Nima jabs Xin right on the nose. Xin blinks but takes it well.
Nima comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Nima dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A lazy left from Nima finds it's target.
Nima works Xin's body with a nice hook.
Xin on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nima scores with a crisp jab that stopped Xin in his tracks.
Nima throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Xin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Nice uppercut there from Nima.
Blaise Xin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Xin fails with the takedown
and Nima counters with a nice uppercut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Blaise Xin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nima cracks Xin with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Xin is breathing heavily.
Xin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Nima finds it's way round the side to connect with Xin's head.
Xin takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Nima bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Xin's head backwards.
A head kick misses from Xin.
Nima fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Xin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Nima counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Xin is rocked!
Nima is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Xin had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Nima drops Xin with a huge uppercut! Xin drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Nima is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
