Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jacks Sole (ranked 895 p4p, 915 weight class) and Che Von Cru (ranked 135 p4p, 136 weight class). Cru has chosen the stranger as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jacks Sole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Che Von Cru!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Bruno Hogan and Chris Dean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Sole counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Sole throws out a loose jab but Cru uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sole looks to land a body kick but Cru moved away.

Sole on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Some bone on bone action there as Cru checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Cru drops his hands momentarily and Sole takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sole lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cru has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cru and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

I was talking to Sole's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Sole gets control of Cru's arms and successfully pulls guard. Sole will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
