Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Torquemada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fisten Dayhues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torquemada comes to the cage accompanied by Anthrax - 1000 Points of Hate. Dayhues has chosen Your Going Down as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dayhues feints and as Torquemada raises his hands in defense, Dayhues changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dayhues thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Torquemada is on top in guard.
Torquemada cracks Dayhues with a solid left hand.
Dayhues can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Torquemada controls the pace.
Torquemada wants to control from the top but Dayhues keeps moving.
Torquemada is looking to work some ground and pound but Dayhues has wrist control.
Dayhues has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Torquemada can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dayhues can do anything to dispel that myth.

Dayhues should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Torquemada wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dayhues, who protects the arm well.
Dayhues is trying to control Torquemada's posture but Torquemada avoids it.
Dayhues is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Dayhues is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Torquemada is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Dayhues really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Torquemada. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Dayhues drops back, looking for a kneebar! Torquemada looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Torquemada looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Torquemada!
Torquemada tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Torquemada trying to control the position but Dayhues is working away.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Torquemada has hold of Dayhues's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Dayhues tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Torquemada cranks the arm and Dayhues screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Dayhues, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
