Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Count Dankula (ranked 2107 p4p, 1708 weight class) and Pull Plugger (ranked 223 p4p, 187 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Count Dankula!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Pull Plugger!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dankula steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Plugger.
Dankula pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Plugger tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Dankula misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Plugger.
Dankula thuds his right hand into Plugger's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Dankula misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Plugger looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Plugger takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Count Dankula is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Plugger looks to land a combination but Dankula avoids it well.
A slow jab from Dankula misses its intended target.
Plugger takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Dankula throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Plugger on the side of the head.
Dankula displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Plugger throws out the jab.
It looks like Dankula has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Dankula lunges at Plugger with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Plugger's hand.
Dankula lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Count Dankula seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Plugger counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Dankula!
Dankula explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Plugger avoids the body shot from Dankula.
Plugger shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Plugger moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Plugger is still on wobbly legs! Can Dankula finish him?
No joy there for Dankula, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Plugger seems to have recovered his senses.
Dankula throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Plugger's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Dankula dives in looking to finish as Plugger flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Dankula's strikes! Dankula is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Plugger's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Plugger was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Count Dankula!
