The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minister misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Minister stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Minister scores with a jab to the body.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Verreira changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Minister fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Minister throws a right hand that misses
enabling Verreira to counter with a crisp jab.

Verreira cracks Minister with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Minister looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Verreira finish him?

Minister is rocked!

Verreira misses with a few strikes there.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Minister! But no joy.
Minister is still on wobbly legs! Can Verreira finish him?
Minister throws a shot from downtown. Verreira moves away and avoids it.
Minister walks straight into a right hand from Verreira - that's dropped him! Verreira jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Minister from any more punishment! Minister complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
