Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Arthus Batiatus (ranked 4522 p4p, 4537 weight class) and Jerry Lishawn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arthus Batiatus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jerry Lishawn! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lishawn darts in and clinches Batiatus up against the cage. Batiatus is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Lishawn is defending well. Lishawn gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Lishawn landing knees to the head.

Lishawn lands an elbow inside that Batiatus shrugs off. Batiatus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lishawn tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Batiatus appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Lishawn tries to clinch there but Batiatus circles away.
Lishawn wants to clinch and Batiatus counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Batiatus is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Lishawn is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Batiatus thows a huge punch but Lishawn dodges it nicely.

Batiatus is pressing down on Lishawn's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lishawn is holding on for now. Batiatus throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Batiatus missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Batiatus slows the pace down in half guard. Batiatus thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lishawn's head. Lishawn looks winded!
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Batiatus slips a nice elbow through Lishawn's hands, connecting with Lishawn's forehead. Lishawn is in trouble now - Batiatus has advanced to mount! Batiatus fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Batiatus landing strikes, looking to finish! Lishawn in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Batiatus controlling from mount. Batiatus fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Batiatus punishing his opponent with strikes. Batiatus lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Lishawn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Batiatus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Batiatus scoring with strikes but Lishawn is staying in there. Batiatus takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. BOOM! Batiatus connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Batiatus dominating with strikes here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Batiatus lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Lishawn hang on? Lishawn is in a horrible position here. Batiatus smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Batiatus is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Lishawn can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Lishawn is rocked! Batiatus in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Lishawn is still in real trouble! Can Batiatus finish him? Batiatus looking to control and managing it successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Batiatus with the ground and pound from mount. Batiatus cracks Lishawn with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Batiatus landing punches. Batiatus with a couple of short strikes. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Batiatus shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Lishawn is on queer street and Batiatus is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Arthus Batiatus!
