PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lynton Miller (ranked 520 p4p, 840 weight class) and Crazy Horse (ranked 76 p4p, 125 weight class). Miller comes to the cage accompanied by Tool - Sober. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Lynton Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Crazy Horse!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been hearing that Miller has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Let's hope that Horse has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Miller accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Horse pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Miller back to the cage. Horse follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Miller digs a good body shot into Horse's ribs.
Horse throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Miller stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Horse takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
A looping hook to the body misses from Miller. Horse does a little dance to reset his feet.

Miller goes for a double leg but Horse avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Horse continues to drive forward.

That's time! Miller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Miller shoots in looking for a takedown but Horse manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Miller's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Crazy Horse seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Miller lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Horse uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Miller has time to react.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lynton Miller will probably get the nod.

Miller throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Horse sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Horse rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Miller moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lynton Miller is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Miller darts in looking for a takedown but Horse gets double underhooks and turns Miller into the cage.

I would just about give that final round to Crazy Horse.
I think Miller has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
