Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brutalis Rhino (ranked 1032 p4p, 1219 weight class) and Charlie Chan (ranked 149 p4p, 170 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brutalis Rhino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charlie Chan!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Chan misses its intended target.
Chan throws a quick inside leg kick.
Chan waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rhino.
Rhino really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Rhino ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chan moves away.
Chan throws an overhand right that lands on Rhino's shoulder, as Rhino tries to avoid the shot.
Rhino uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Chan.
Chan looks to land a left hand but Rhino moved out of range nicely.
Chan misses with a hook.
Chan connects with a solid leg kick.
Chan connects with a single shot there.
Chan throws a jab when Rhino was well out of range.
Rhino throws a big counter combination but Chan scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Chan is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chan misses with a looping left.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Rhino throws a series of punches but Chan avoids them all with ease.
Chan connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rhino momentarily.
Chan swings away with a leg kick that misses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Chan felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Rhino has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Check out the look on Rhino's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Rhino wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chan keeps working.
Chan wants to get back to his feet but Rhino drags him back down.
Rhino will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Chan tries to bench press Rhino off him but Rhino keeps the position.
Chan is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Rhino off and has taken his back!

Chan is trying to stick to Rhino's back but Rhino is turning into Chan. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Chan's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Rhino.

Chan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rhino is controlling him.

Chan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rhino defends well.

Chan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Chan is looking for a triangle but Rhino pushes his legs off easily.
Rhino lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rhino is sitting in close to Chan's body. Chan has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Rhino is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Rhino is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Chan.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Charlie Chan!
An out of breath Charlie Chan thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
