Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Don Barnes (ranked 1417 p4p, 927 weight class) and Conor OShea (ranked 197 p4p, 139 weight class). Conor OShea has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 20 - 0, fighting out of London, Conor OShea!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OShea throws a shot from downtown. Barnes moves away and avoids it.
OShea lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Barnes has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

That was a close round but I would say that Don Barnes will probably get the nod.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

OShea lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Barnes circles away quickly and effectively.
OShea loads up on a big right hand but Barnes slips the punch.

OShea might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Barnes closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
