Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Cool (ranked 3704 p4p, 3334 weight class) and Masada The Zealot (ranked 431 p4p, 398 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cool fails to land the takedown.
Cool shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. The Zealot defends it nicely.

The Zealot displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cool.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin Cool. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The Zealot scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Cool fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Cool misses with a double jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cool sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
The Zealot is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Cool is breathing heavily.
The Zealot lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
The Zealot lands a really nice looking cross but Cool seems unphased.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

A jab-cross combination lands for The Zealot and sends Cool crashing to the mat! The Zealot follows him down to the mat - Cool regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Cool is rocked!
The Zealot scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Oh Cool is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The Zealot lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Cool quite badly. Cool pulls The Zealot in close trying to recover. The Zealot postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Cool on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Cool doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
