Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Leroy (ranked 2994 p4p, 3614 weight class) and Omari Apinagewanwa (ranked 284 p4p, 319 weight class). Apinagewanwa is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Maurice A God - Lottery. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bruce Leroy !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Omari Apinagewanwa!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apinagewanwa avoids a punch combination nicely.
Leroy connects with a good right hand that stumbles Apinagewanwa. Apinagewanwa circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Apinagewanwa misses with a wild body shot.
Apinagewanwa tries to keep at a distance but Leroy has taken the fight into the clinch.
Leroy fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Leroy tries to land knees in the clinch but Apinagewanwa avoids the damage to the body.

Leroy misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Apinagewanwa.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Apinagewanwa has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Leroy scores with a nice hook to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Leroy tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Apinagewanwa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Apinagewanwa lands with a hook. Leroy tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Leroy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Apinagewanwa circles away quickly and effectively.

Apinagewanwa avoids the head kick by Leroy .
Apinagewanwa lands an overhand right.
Apinagewanwa keeps the fight on the outside.
A combination from Leroy does no damage.
Leroy moves into the clinch successfully.
Leroy misses with a hook to the ribs.
Apinagewanwa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Leroy throws a leg kick which misses Apinagewanwa's front leg but catches the back leg as Apinagewanwa tries to avoid it.
Apinagewanwa connects with a jab.
Apinagewanwa clobbers Leroy with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Leroy ducks under a wild hook from Apinagewanwa.
Leroy throws a sloppy head kick and Apinagewanwa moves out of range easily.
A telegraphed right hand from Apinagewanwa misses the target.
It looked like Leroy was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Apinagewanwa cracks Leroy with a right hand to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Leroy takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Apinagewanwa walks into a jab.
Leroy 's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Leroy duly obliges.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters circling - Apinagewanwa throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Leroy lands a jab-cross combination.
Apinagewanwa is rocked!
Leroy is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Apinagewanwa misses with a lunging right hand
and Leroy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Apinagewanwa is still on wobbly legs! Can Leroy finish him?

Leroy lands a leg kick that knocks Apinagewanwa off balance momentarily.
Leroy with a nice calf kick.
Apinagewanwa backs away from a small jab... but Leroy lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Apinagewanwa crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Leroy with a spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Bruce Leroy !
After winning the bout, Bruce Leroy thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
