Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Leroy (ranked 2994 p4p, 3614 weight class) and Omari Apinagewanwa (ranked 284 p4p, 319 weight class). Apinagewanwa is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Maurice A God - Lottery. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apinagewanwa avoids a punch combination nicely.
Leroy connects with a good right hand that stumbles Apinagewanwa. Apinagewanwa circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Apinagewanwa misses with a wild body shot.

Apinagewanwa tries to keep at a distance but Leroy has taken the fight into the clinch.
Leroy fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Leroy tries to land knees in the clinch but Apinagewanwa avoids the damage to the body.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Apinagewanwa has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Leroy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Apinagewanwa circles away quickly and effectively.

Apinagewanwa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Leroy throws a leg kick which misses Apinagewanwa's front leg but catches the back leg as Apinagewanwa tries to avoid it.
Apinagewanwa connects with a jab.
Apinagewanwa clobbers Leroy with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Leroy ducks under a wild hook from Apinagewanwa.
Leroy throws a sloppy head kick and Apinagewanwa moves out of range easily.
A telegraphed right hand from Apinagewanwa misses the target.
It looked like Leroy was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Apinagewanwa cracks Leroy with a right hand to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Leroy takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Apinagewanwa backs away from a small jab... but Leroy lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Apinagewanwa crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Leroy with a spectacular finish!

After winning the bout, Bruce Leroy thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
