Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jet Gunner!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Alyssa Summers and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunner looks to score with a jab to the body but Bessant is just out of range.
Bessant tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Gunner manages to circle out of the way.
Bessant takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Bessant misses with a two punch combination.
Gunner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bessant moves away.
Bessant takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Gunner thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Bessant if he has to take too many more of those.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gunner rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bessant moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bessant was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Bessant tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Gunner seems to have recovered his senses.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Gunner lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bessant circles away quickly and effectively.
Gunner is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Bessant rather than just go for the knockout.
Nice straight punches there by Bessant. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bessant.
Gunner tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Bessant counters with a huge left! Gunner is in big trouble! He's backing up but Bessant isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Gunner from any more damage. A dominating finish by Bessant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Bessant!
John Bessant was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
