Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Gunn (ranked 4581 p4p, 4864 weight class) and William Tate (ranked 95 p4p, 98 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunn avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tate tries to clinch there but Gunn circles away.
Gunn changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Gunn takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Tate lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Tate.

Tate clinches up with Gunn and pushes him back against the cage.

Gunn is looking to wear down Tate with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Tate tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Gunn manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Gunn has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Gunn throws a head kick but Tate moves out of range.

and Gunn counters with a three punch combo that has Tate backing up. Tate nods at Gunn to acknowledge the strikes.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Gunn counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Tate!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Gunn lunges at Tate with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Tate's hand.
Gunn buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Tate fails to land with a series of punches.
Tate tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Gunn manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Gunn drops Tate with a beautiful combination! Tate stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Gunn is looking for the KO!
Tate is rocked!
Tate circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Gunn. Tate falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Gunn!
