Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Louis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Flavio Ruas!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ruas tries a head kick but it misses.
Ruas fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Louis has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Louis feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ruass jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Flavio Ruas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

and Louis counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Louis looks to score with a jab to the body but Ruas is just out of range.

and Louis counters with a nice leg kick.

Louis throws a low kick, looking for Ruas's leg but Ruas calmly moves out of range.

Ruas rushes Louis and presses him up against the ropes.
Louis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Louis connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ruas's hands.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ruas looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Louis throws a looping overhand right but Ruas ducks down to avoid it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tom Louis will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ruas rushes Louis and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Louis has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Louis throws an overhand right that has Ruas reeling! Louis follows up with more punches and Ruas is out cold! This one is all over!
