The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rey blocks a head kick by Sanchez.
Paco Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like el Rey has been cut.
Sanchez looks to land a left hand but Rey moved out of range nicely.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Sanchez lands a left and a right that sends Rey crashing to the canvas! Sanchez dives into mount looking to finish!
