Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mack Jackson (ranked 2571 p4p, 2321 weight class) and Aaron Tate Jr (ranked 306 p4p, 281 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mack Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Tate Jr! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tate Jr bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Jackson tries for a takedown but Tate Jr circles away easily and Tate Jr connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A punch combination from Tate Jr misses. Tate Jr looks to score with a jab to the body but Jackson is just out of range. Jackson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jackson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Tate Jr connects with a body shot. Jackson dives in and grabs Tate Jr's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tate Jr pushes down on Jackson's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mack Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jackson misses with a combination
and Tate Jr counters with a left to the body. Tate Jr feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jacksons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Tate Jr lands with a hook. Jackson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jackson darts in looking for a takedown but Tate Jr gets double underhooks and turns Jackson into the cage. Tate Jr looks like he wants to counter punch here. Tate Jr pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jackson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Tate Jr counters with a right hand to the body. Tate Jr has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Jackson avoids the body shot from Tate Jr.
Jackson misses with a takedown attempt and Tate Jr counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Jackson is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tate Jr lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Tate Jr connects with a single shot there. Jackson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Tate Jr throws out a counter right but Jackson avoids it with no problem. Jackson shoots in and drives through. Tate Jr sprawls well. Jackson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tate Jr swivels and escapes. Tate Jr scores with a shot to the body.
Tate Jr drops Jackson with a nice combination! Tate Jr dives into Jackson's guard, looking to finish!
Jackson is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tate Jr gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Oh Jackson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Tate Jr waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Jackson. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Jackson to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Tate Jr sitting in guard, not really doing much. Jackson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Tate Jr loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Tate Jr gets to his feet. Jackson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Jackson seems to have got his legs back now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tate Jr fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Jackson with a poor takedown and Tate Jr cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Tate Jr scores with a hook to the body. Jackson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Jackson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tate Jr swivels and escapes. Tate Jr looks like he wants to counter punch here. Jackson fails with the takedown and Tate Jr cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by Tate Jr! Jackson is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!
