Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barry Goldberg (ranked 4968 p4p, 735 weight class) and Sergeant Smash (ranked 160 p4p, 8 weight class). Smash has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Barry Goldberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sergeant Smash!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smash lands a nice hook to Goldberg's body. Goldberg takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Smash looks winded!
Goldberg tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Smash paws at him with a jab and circles away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Smash! But no joy.

and Smash makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Smash's coach down at GWad's Playpen was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Smash's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Goldberg throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Smashs head.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Goldberg lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Smash backwards.

It looks like Sergeant Smash has been cut.

Goldberg swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Smash is still on wobbly legs! Can Goldberg finish him?

Goldberg creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Smash's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Smash drops to his knees and Goldberg pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
