Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xiong Guo (ranked 4711 p4p, 2613 weight class) and Emelianenko Fedor (ranked 151 p4p, 91 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Fedor's choice of entrance music: Russian National Anthem plays as confetti rains down. . Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Guo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fedor swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Fedor doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Guo counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Guo throws a hook to the side of Fedor's head but Fedor sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Fedor throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Guo tries to sprawl but Fedor drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Guo kicks Fedor off and gets back to his feet.

Fedor has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Emelianenko Fedor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fedor is trying to drag Guo to the mat but Guo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Guo lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Fedor or not.

Fedor is rocked!
Guo creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Fedor's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Fedor drops to his knees and Guo pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Xiong Guo!
A very excited looking Xiong Guo made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Emelianenko Fedor was interviewed post fight and said 'This was gods will'.
