The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Reem counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Zaire is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Zaire closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Zaire tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Reem smiles and moves away.

and Reem counters with a big head kick but Zaire shrugs it off.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Zaire ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Zaire no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Zaire has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Zaire pushes a forearm under Reem's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Reem is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
