Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Galanis (ranked 1853 p4p, 2576 weight class) and Za Beast (ranked 268 p4p, 357 weight class). Adrian Galanis could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Za Beast's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adrian Galanis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Za Beast!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beast changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Galanis tries to avoid it but Beast manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Galanis to the ground. Galanis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Beast looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Galanis is fending him off so far but Beast persists. Nope, Galanis circles away and we're back to standing.
Beast tries to close the distance and clinch up but Galanis swats him away and circles back towards the center.
It looked like Galanis wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
A telegraphed right hand from Galanis misses the target.
No luck for Beast with that takedown attempt.
Adrian Galanis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Za Beast.
Beast shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Galanis but Galanis pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Galanis was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
A looping hook to the body misses from Galanis. Beast does a little dance to reset his feet.

We've been told by Galanis's head coaches at Black Swans that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Beast throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Galanis's waist but Galanis gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Beast off to one side.

Galanis looks to land a combination but Beast avoids it well.

Galanis feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Beasts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Galanis lands with an overhand left.
Galanis connects with a combination that backs up Beast into the cage. Galanis lands a flurry of punches that gets past Beast's guard. Beast is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Galanis bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
