Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Clay (ranked 2608 p4p, 1997 weight class) and Kyle Kuzma (ranked 327 p4p, 255 weight class). Kuzma has chosen Tarararara as his entrance music. Kyle Kuzma will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andrew Clay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyle Kuzma!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clay shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kuzma but Kuzma pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kuzma will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kuzma looks to land a combination but Clay avoids it well.
Kuzma tries to bum rush Clay with a series of wild strikes but Clay uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Clay swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kuzma rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Clay moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kuzma gets a clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Kuzma throws an elbow but misses.
Kuzma throws a punch but it's blocked by Clay.

Kuzma has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Clay after a bit of a struggle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been informed that Kuzma has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

We've been hearing good reports from Clay's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

That was a close round but I would say that Andrew Clay will probably get the nod.

Clay shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Kuzma is looking to regain half guard here but Clay keeps moving and retains side control.

Clay takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Clay is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kuzma knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Clay dives in and grabs Kuzma's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kuzma pushes down on Clay's head and hops out.

Clay lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kuzma is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Clay rather than just go for the knockout.
Kuzma rushes Clay and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Clay cracks Kuzma with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Kuzma throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Clay throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kuzma tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Clay is in Kuzma's guard.

Clay stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kuzma swivels though and keeps the full guard.
