The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jonathan Paton and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Klerk gets caught flat footed, as Howlett shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
De Klerk is looking to stand up but Howlett isn't so interested in that idea.
Howlett controls from within his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Howlett slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
De Klerk wants to get back to his feet but Howlett drags him back down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Howlett in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... De Klerk is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
