Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikha Hammodi (ranked 4306 p4p, 4913 weight class) and Dwayne Mill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mikha Hammodi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dwayne Mill!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mill shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hammodi manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Mill wanted to stand there but Hammodi had control of the position.
Hammodi trying to keep a closed guard but Mill is proving a slippery customer.
Hammodi looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Mill stands and throws Hammodi's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Hammodi tries to get back to half guard but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hammodi is trying to control Mill's posture but Mill avoids it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mill is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Hammodi will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Hammodi tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mill wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Hammodi wants to control but Mill postures up.
Mill throws an elbow but Hammodi slips to the side and avoids it well.
Mill staying calm.
Hammodi wants to control but Mill postures up.
Hammodi tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Mill is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hammodi has escaped the position, nice work there.
Mill wants to control but Hammodi is keeping him busy.
Mill working away.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Mill has Hammodi up against the cage in a clinch.

Mill avoiding damage.
Mill goes for a takedown attempt but Hammodi pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Mill darts in and clinches Hammodi up against the cage.
Mill tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hammodi avoids it.

Mill turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Mill manages to end up in side control.
Mill scores with punches from side control.

Mill wants to stand but Hammodi has his arm trapped.
Mill working away.
Hammodi tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Mill is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hammodi is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Mill trying to control the position but Hammodi is working away.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Mill tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Dwayne Mill dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Mill throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hammodi tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mill is in Hammodi's guard.
Mill throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hammodi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Mill seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Hammodi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hammodi looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Mill has picked Hammodi up and slammed him! Hammodi can't keep hold of the triangle and Mill manages to pass to side control!

Hammodi manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Mill is looking for a kimura but Hammodi is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mill to get the leverage.
Hammodi is looking to get back to full guard here but Mill has managed to pass to side control instead.
Hammodi tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Dwayne Mill has got the better of the ground game so far.
Hammodi wants to control but Mill is having none of it.
Mill prevents Hammodi from getting the reversal.

Mill is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Hammodi has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Mill with a couple of short strikes.

Hammodi tries to reverse the position but Mill maintains control.
Hammodi tries to hold on but Mill pushes him away.
Mill tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
A nice elbow there by Mill.
Hammodi is looking to improve his position but Mill isn't that keen on the idea.

Mill has control of Hammodi's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hammodi regains control of the situation pretty easily.
We've been informed that Mill has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Mill scoring with strikes but Hammodi is staying in there.
Mill can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hammodi is looking to escape.
Mill controlling from the full mount.
Hammodi is looking to improve his position but Mill isn't that keen on the idea.
Mill trying to control but Hammodi is having none of it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hammodi is in all sorts of trouble here.
Hammodi is bucking up trying to escape but Mill cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Hammodi can't escape the position.
Mill works his way to his opponent's back.
Hammodi tries to roll but Mill sticks to his back.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Hammodi is working hard here to advance position.
Mill punishes Hammodi with strikes from the back mount.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Dwayne Mill showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Hammodi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Hammodi gets caught napping as Mill dives in and scores a takedown. Hammodi manages to retain guard.

Hammodi has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Mill should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Hammodi has tightened it up now! Mill should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
