Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Da Silva shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Da Silva tries a head kick but it misses.
Soprano shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Da Silva pinned against the cage. Da Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Soprano bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Da Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Soprano on the ground. Da Silva is trying to buck Soprano off. The ground and pound from Soprano seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Soprano misses with the ground and pound. Soprano connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Da Silva some visible discomfort.
Soprano throws a strike aimed at the side of Da Silva's head but Da Silva avoids it well. Soprano cracks Da Silva with an elbow. That is naaassty. Da Silva is pushing Soprano's head away, looking to escape. Soprano manages to hold on to the position though. Da Silva takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Soprano wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Da Silva, who protects the arm well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Soprano scores with a couple of short elbows. Soprano throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Soprano throwing shots but missing, from side control. Soprano lands an elbow. Da Silva dodges the ground and pound from Soprano. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sloppy strikes there by Soprano. Da Silva could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Da Silva is breathing heavily. Soprano working the ground and pound from side control. Soprano working the head with strikes. Soprano lands some shots froms side control. Soprano landing a few strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Soprano cracks Da Silva with an elbow. That is naaassty. Soprano scores with a couple of short elbows. Soprano has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Da Silva dodges the ground and pound from Soprano. Da Silva avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Soprano. Soprano lands a few punches from side control. Soprano working the head and body with strikes. Soprano throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Soprano scores with punches from side control. Soprano working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Soprano working the head with strikes. Soprano cracks Da Silva with a big elbow. Da Silva wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Soprano landing strikes. Soprano looks up at the clock and then as Da Silva takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Soprano smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Da Silva takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Soprano lands a few punches from side control. Soprano scores with a couple of short elbows. Soprano working the head and body with strikes. Soprano cracks Da Silva with a big right hand but Da Silva just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Da Silva is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Da Silva takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Soprano tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Soprano has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Soprano working the ground and pound. Soprano is putting a hurting on Da Silva here, landing some big shots from side control. Da Silva on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Da Silva taking punishment in the form of punches.
Soprano has hold of Da Silva's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Da Silva tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Soprano cranks the arm and Da Silva screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Da Silva, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
