Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Claudio Benedetti (ranked 2395 p4p, 1679 weight class) and Harold Zoid (ranked 299 p4p, 222 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Benedetti might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Atrevete te. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 21 - 0, fighting out of London, Harold Zoid!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, John Roberts and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benedetti misses with a straight right.
Zoid moves into range and connects with a jab.
Benedetti throws an off balance right hand
and Zoid connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Benedetti staying out of range there.
Benedetti throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Zoid lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Benedetti circles away quickly and effectively.
Zoid pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Benedetti checks a leg kick.
Benedetti throwing a counter right hand but Zoid manages to avoid it.
Benedetti ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Zoid moves away.
Benedetti ducks under a wild hook from Zoid.
Zoid misses with a hook. Benedetti ducked under it nicely.
Benedetti throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Zoid on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Benedetti lands with a right hand.
It looks like Harold Zoid has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Benedetti misses the jab.
Benedetti misses with a low kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Zoid! But no joy.
Benedetti tries to land a leg kick but Zoid saw it coming and moves away.

Zoid throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Benedetti counters with a nice uppercut.

Zoid tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Zoid lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Benedetti fails to land with a series of punches.
Benedetti looks to throw the jab but Zoid is out of range.
Zoid lands with a good body shot.
A telegraphed right hand from Zoid misses the target.
Benedetti scores with a jab. Zoid acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Zoid throws a solid leg kick but Benedetti takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Zoid.
Benedetti connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Benedetti throws a low kick but Zoid avoids it.
Zoid swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Zoid fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Benedetti is out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zoid fails to land with a series of punches.
Zoid lands a jab to the nose.
A telegraphed right hand from Benedetti misses the target.
Benedetti paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Benedetti throws an off balance right hand
and Benedetti takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Benedetti fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Benedetti walks into a left hand.
Benedetti connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Zoid onto his butt! Zoid bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.
A jab from Benedetti misses.
Zoid walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Zoid is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!

After winning the bout, Claudio Benedetti thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
