Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cedric De Boise (ranked 429 p4p, 762 weight class) and Mawi Da Oxlade (ranked 61 p4p, 100 weight class). De Boise's entrance music is Do Your Thing. A fine choice. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Cedric De Boise! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mawi Da Oxlade! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Da Oxlade rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and De Boise counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Mawi Da Oxlade has been cut. Da Oxlade throws a lazy uppercut
and De Boise counters with a right hand to the body. De Boise is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. De Boise motions for Da Oxlade to come forward. De Boise throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Da Oxlade throws a big counter head kick but De Boise avoids it with no problem. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as De Boise checks a leg kick. De Boise has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Dr Hatsumi's Clinic in the buildup to the fight. Da Oxlade moves away from the strike by De Boise. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from De Boise lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Da Oxlade has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Da Oxlade and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Da Oxlade lands with an uppercut that bounces De Boise off the cage and back into range. Da Oxlade moves away from the strike by De Boise. De Boise motions for Da Oxlade to come forward. De Boise throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Da Oxlade slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. A big right from De Boise misses. Da Oxlade scores with a head kick. De Boise tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Cedric De Boise has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! De Boise takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. De Boise has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Da Oxlade finds it's way round the side to connect with De Boise's head. Da Oxlade on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by De Boise. De Boise obviously looking to wear him down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Da Oxlade moves out of range of the body kick from De Boise.
De Boise blocks a head kick by Da Oxlade.
And De Boise counters with a quick kick to the body but Da Oxlade blocks it. De Boise keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Da Oxlade. De Boise checks the leg kick. De Boise swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Da Oxlade misses with a hook. Da Oxlade's coach down at The Lab was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Da Oxlade's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Da Oxlade tries a head kick but it misses.
Da Oxlade connects with a nice looking jab.
Da Oxlade moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Da Oxlade connects with a looping right hand.

and De Boise makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. De Boise on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Da Oxlade. Da Oxlade obviously looking to wear him down.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Da Oxlade misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
De Boise takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Da Oxlade tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Da Oxlade throws a hook to the side of De Boise's head but De Boise sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A little feinted left hand from De Boise on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. De Boise uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Da Oxlade. Da Oxlade wants to clinch but De Boise slips to the side and De Boise counters with a solid body kick. Nice defenses there by Da Oxlade. Da Oxlade walks straight into a right hand from De Boise - that's dropped him! De Boise jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Da Oxlade from any more punishment! Da Oxlade complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Cedric De Boise! A relieved looking Cedric De Boise thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. Mawi Da Oxlade spoke after the fight, saying 'The plan was to win by decision. '.
