Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pattenson tries to close the distance and clinch but Maeda swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Pattenson stuns Maeda with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Pattenson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Maeda sprawls well initially but Pattenson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Pattenson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Maeda manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pattenson has Maeda in his guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Maeda sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pattenson's guard.
Pattenson wants to control but Maeda is keeping busy.

That was a close second round but I would say that Patrick Pattenson will probably get the nod.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Esai Maeda comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Maeda has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
