Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mac Keegan (ranked 2008 p4p, 23815 weight class) and Mister Kitty (ranked 122 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mister Kitty was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mister Kitty!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keegan gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Kitty is pressed up against the cage. Keegan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kitty down to the mat. Kitty avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Keegan misses with a takedown attempt - Kitty sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Keegan has been working on his boxing with his coaches at JAG Battle Gym in the buildup to the fight.
No joy there for Kitty, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
