Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Stanislaw Bednarski (ranked 5210 p4p, 4300 weight class) and Middle Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 490 weight class). Bednarski comes to the cage accompanied by KAS:ST - Hell On Earth. Stanislaw Bednarski is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Stanislaw Bednarski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Middle Bear! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bear tries to close the distance and clinch but Bednarski swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bednarski gets in close and instigates a clinch. Bear tries to pull guard but Bednarski forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Bear is working for takedown but Bednarski is calmly controlling the position for now. Bednarski breaks from the clinch.
Bednarski misses with a few strikes there.
Bednarski misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bear changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Some wild striking there from Bednarski.
Bednarski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bednarski swats away the attempt to clinch by Bear. Bear blocks a head kick by Bednarski.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bear scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Bednarski wants to control but Bear postures up. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bednarski is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Bear goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bednarski rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Bear's guard! Nice work there by Bednarski!
That's one minute gone in the round. Bear looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bear is trying to control the position but Bednarski postures up. Bear had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bednarski defends it easily. Bednarski wants to stand but Bear is controlling his posture from full guard. Bednarski gets to his feet - Bear follows without any prompting.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bear closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bednarski circles away. Stanislaw Bednarski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Middle Bear. Bednarski misses with a takedown attempt and Bear counters with a lovely shot to the body. Bednarski will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bear is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Bednarski with a body shot. Bednarski is breathing heavily. Bear changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bednarski tries to avoid it but Bear manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bednarski to the ground. Bednarski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bear shoots in looking for a takedown. Bednarski tries to sprawl out of it but Bear keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bednarski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bear is defended easily by Bednarski. Bear chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bednarski can pounce on him.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bear pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bednarski is keeping the position for now. Bear trying to control the position from guard on top but Bednarski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bear keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bednarski's head. Bear would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Bear in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Bear loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bear has gone for a leg lock! Bednarski slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bear's guard. Bear is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Bear is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bednarski defends it well. Bear sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bednarski defending well though. Bear is looking for a kimura but Bednarski is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bear to get the leverage. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Stanislaw Bednarski will probably get the nod. That's time! Bednarski's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Bear rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bednarski moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bednarski clinches up against the cage. Bear tries to pull guard but Bednarski holds him up against the cage and eventually Bear drops back down to his feet.
Bear is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Bednarski is defending well. Bednarski is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bear gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Bednarski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bednarski scores with a head kick.
It looks like Middle Bear has been cut. Bear drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Bednarski has his feet on Bear's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bear tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bednarski swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bednarski misses with a double jab
letting Bear counter with a right hand. Bednarski fails with a takedown attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bednarski misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stanislaw Bednarski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bednarski scores with a push kick. Bednarski fails with the takedown. Bear feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Bear drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bear jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bear drops back looking for a leg! Bednarski is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bednarski manages to kick Bear off! Bear jumps back into Bednarski's guard. Bednarski can't keep his opponent in guard - Bear advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bednarski is in trouble now - Bear has advanced to mount! A nice elbow there by Bear. Bednarski is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Bednarski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bear on the ground. Bear raining down shots from the mount! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bednarski holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Bear tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bednarski wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Bear.
Bear is working for a guillotine from mount but Bednarski frees his head quite easily.
Bear misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Bednarski defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Bear. Bear jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Bednarski manages to avoid the submission attempt. Bear is trying to get an arm triangle but Bednarski is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bear wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bednarski keeps working. Bear is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bednarski knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Bear tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bear has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Middle Bear showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Middle Bear's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Bednarski tries for a takedown but Bear circles away easily and Bear counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Bednarski throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bear drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Bednarski defends it well. Bear looking for a takedown here - he's got it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bear has gone for a leg lock! Bear bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bednarski's guard. Bednarski keeping moving, preventing Bear from controlling successfully. Bear pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bednarski is keeping the position for now. Bear trying to control but Bednarski is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bear throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bednarski works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Bear advances position into side control! Bear tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bear has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Bear tries for a kimura but Bednarski is defending well. Bear is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Bednarski looks calm but he's in trouble here. Bear gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Bednarski is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Bear lets go of the hold and Bednarski can pop his arm back in it's socket.
